As long as TrendForce is not just repeating what Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed in March, there are now several sources supporting the same display sizes for the foldable iPhone.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 from Samsung features a 6.5-inch outside panel and an 8-inch inner screen.
The foldable iPhone may make its debut in September of next year, according to TrendForce, which predicted that Apple will release the device in the second half of 2026.
Kuo stated last week that a "crease-free" inner display would be a characteristic of the foldable iPhone and Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8. According to him, Apple will accomplish this by employing a metal display plate that has been laser-drilled, which can distribute the stress caused by bending.
According to Kuo, the foldable iPhone would feature a Touch ID power button in place of Face ID, two rear cameras, and one front camera.
