Samsung has also introduced an updated line of smartwatches in addition to the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. The squircle design, which Samsung refers it as the "Cushion design," was taken from the Galaxy Watch Ultra and is what sets the Galaxy Watch8 Series apart from earlier Galaxy watches.

The Galaxy Watch8 Series is the "thinnest, most comfortable Galaxy Watch ever," according to Samsung. Wear OS 6, longer battery life, and more intelligent health features are all features of the latest smartwatches. While the Galaxy Watch8 Classic comes in a 46mm size, the Galaxy Watch8 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes.

Speaking of specifications, the Galaxy Watch8's display is composed of armored metal and covered by sapphire crystal glass. In comparison with its predecessor, the basic Watch8 is noticeably 11% slimmer. In intense sunshine, both watches' peak brightness increases from 2,000 to 3,000 nits, making them visible and dazzling.

The Galaxy Watch8 is available in silver and graphite. The 40mm model has a 1.34-inch Super AMOLED 438x438 resolution display, while the 44mm model has a 1.47-inch Super AMOLED 480x480 display. Behind the scenes, the Exynos W1000 CPU powers the Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic.

Whereas the Galaxy Watch8 Classic has a 2GB+64GB configuration, the Galaxy Watch8 has a 2GB+32GB setup. A 325 mAh battery powers the 40mm model, while a 435 mAh battery powers the 44mm model.

The resurgent rotating bezel is the most significant feature of the Galaxy Watch8 Classic. Additionally, it has the Quick button, which was previously only available on the Watch Ultra. There will be two color options for the Galaxy Watch8 Classic: black and white.

Numerous health-related sensors, such as the Samsung BioActive sensor, temperature sensor, accelerometer, barometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and light sensor, are included in the Galaxy Watch8 Series. An additional 3D Hall sensor is included with the Watch8 Classic.

The new smartwatches can provide Bedtime Guidance, which suggests the best time to go to sleep, by using these sensors. While you sleep, Vascular Load keeps an eye on your stress levels. Next is the Antioxidant Index, which allows you to measure your carotenoid levels directly from your smartwatch in only five seconds for the first time.

The health suite on these smartwatches also includes other functions like Running Coach, High Stress Alert, Energy Score, and Mindfulness Tracker. Both watches have Wear OS 6 with One UI 8 Watch installed on top, which offers a new user interface with Gemini AI support for intelligent voice help.

The Galaxy Watch8 Classic costs $499.99, while the 40mm and 44mm models cost $349.99 and $379.99, respectively.
