You may now share your full desktop with Copilot in Windows 11.

With the exception of a few minor tweaks "that addressee some issues" with the previously released Windows 10 and 11 releases, there are no new Windows preview builds today. Nevertheless, Microsoft has updated the Copilot app's Vision feature, which allows it to view the entire desktop rather than just one or two apps.

Users can share the full desktop with Copilot Vision starting with version 1.25071.125, which is currently accessible to all Windows Insiders across all channels. As a result, the AI is able to see what you see and provide you with the information you need about whatever occurs on your screen. You can ask Copilot for advice, insights, suggestions, enhancements, or any other information regarding the apps that are currently available.

To activate Copilot Vision, click the glasses icon in the composer after launching the Copilot app. Choose your desktop then, and begin asking Copilot anything you want.

But there are other ways to activate Copilot Vision. Copilot Vision can now be launched while speaking with the AI in voice mode on Windows 11. It's a little easier to start Copilot Vision now that you can see the glasses icon whenever you speak to Copilot using your voice, according to Microsoft.

It is important to note that while Copilot Vision updates are being made available to all insiders through all four channels, they are only accessible in nations where Copilot Vision is activated. Additionally, if you have not received those features after updating the Copilot app to version 1.25071.125 or later, allow Microsoft a few more days to deliver them as the distribution is incremental.

The announcement post is available on the official Windows Blogs page.
